the-color-run-2014As if Plett Summer holidays weren’t exciting enough, Nature Sport Company now gives you even more reason to get out and enjoy the beautiful sunshine and fun that Plettenberg Bay is synonymous with. On the 21st on December the famous Colour Run will be brightening up the streets of Plett. Based on the ethos of good, clean, healthy family fun; the Color Run has taken South Africa by storm and it is now Plett’s turn to soak up some of the joy.

The event will begin at Central Beach parking lot and follow an easy 5 kilometre route, ending back and Central Beach, with magical colour stations along the way for the participants to run through and come out looking more colourful than ever before. You can walk it, run it or do cartwheels the whole way and it is for the whole family. The colour substance that is used is 100% safe made up of organic corn flour dyed with organic food colouring. So if it gets in your mouth or eyes it is completely safe, and it will wash out your hair and clothes instantly.

The entrance fee is R 200 per person, but kids under 10 get to take part for free (how great is that?). You can register at the Skyy Bar in the Upper Deck Centre on the 19th and 20th December all day or in the Nature Sport office until Friday. Entrance fee includes a goody bag with a cool Color Run t-shirt and other goodies. At the end of the run there will be a finish line festival for all ages with music and prizes to keep the party going.

Nature Sport Company is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with The Color Run team to make this event a hugely memorable one for Plett so get down to the beach and make sure you don’t miss out on the “happiest 5km” on the planet.
