Tour de Plett Celebrates 5th Year 

Tour de Plett Celebrates 5^th Year by teaming up with the Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival sponsored by Sasfin.

This year is the 5^th anniversary of the event… during the last four years we have constantly looked for ways to improve the riders experience by listening to your feedback… last year we unveiled the Central Beach finish which got a big “thumbs up”. There were a few niggles about the two climbs out of Wittedrif, but hey, we’re not perfect!

This year we are very excited to announce the following enhancements…

• Discounted entry to Wine & Bubbly Festival – 40% discounted admission to the Festival sponsored by Sasfin
• Pro Prize Money – R40,000 prize money for the pro’s… split 50/50 between Ladies and Men
• Route enhancements – Based on feedback we have made some improvements to the last 10kms of the route. Instead of the gnarly climb through the Green Valley community we have developed about 4kms of awesome single track, which will be a blast. At the beach there will be a “victory lap” around the Piesang river, with a bridge across the river to finish on the beach right in front of the Wine & Bubbly pavilion
