Lifesaving South Africa National Championships: 21-26 March
The DHL Lifesaving South Africa National Championships took place at Kings Beach, Port Elizabeth during the last week of March.
PLETT SURF entered a strong contingent of Nippers (ages U9 – U14) who competed earlier this week, a large Juniors squad (15-U19) and a “Boatie Crew” who are currently competing.
We are happy to report back on the Nipper results, our dedicated team who have been training so hard down at Central Beach were placed 6th overall out of 18 teams nationwide and received numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for individual and team events.
This is a HUGE achievement for our small club, and we are so proud of our athletes.
Last, but not least for the first time we were able to enter a MASTERS TEAM … yes, our very own coaches took part and achieved great results with podium finishes!
