Loving Valentines at Kurland Hotel

The 5 star Kurland Hotel, lovingly presents Valentine’s Day dinner created by award-wining Executive Chef, Leon Coetzee. Starting from 18:00, guests can indulge in a 5 course dinner for just R450 per person, in the Kurland Hotel restaurant, and ladies will receive a rose from the beautiful Kurland garden on arrival. For a lighter bistro style dining experience, Katarina’s Bistro will present a romantically created lunch and dinner menu at just R395.00 per person.

This signature menu begins with an Amuse Bouche, followed by homemade buffalo mozzarella with cherry tomato, pumpkin seed oil basil and pea shoots and then pan fried loin of lamb with braised red cabbage, baby corn and a mild coffee jus.

For the fourth course, sole rosette with prawn and rocket mousse, a langoustine and chardonnay coulis and then chocolate fondant with Amarula ice cream and a crispy tuille for dessert.

On Valentine’s Day, for lunch and dinner, Katarina’s Bistro will present guests with a complimentary raspberry Kir Royale cocktail on arrival. Some of the many options on the menu include chilled green grape and cucumber gazpacho, twice baked salmon soufflé with leek sauce served with pickled cool vegetables, pineapple with sticky rice and for dessert a decadent coconut surprise.
